SELF ALIGNING
This development of the standard Starlock Push-on Fastener
is particularly useful for applications where the face of
the fastener must be square to the axis of the shaft. This
is achieved by the self aligning legs on the fastener which
also give increased resistance to non-axial loads which
may be transmitted from the adjacent part i.e. wheel to
axle assembly.

Only available in spring steel.
Uncapped fasteners can be supplied in blue and varnish finish
for imperial BV sizes , in bronze and varnish finish for metric
BV sizes or in mechanical zinc plated D finish.
For the outside diameter of cap dimension E, depth of penetration
of shaft into cap dimension F, and height G, reference should
be made to the charts for dome
caps, axle caps,
deep axle caps
and nylon caps.
Caps can be supplied in stainless steel - reference
S, in aluminium - reference K, in zinc plated
mild steel - reference A and in nylon - reference
N, as shown in the columns above. |
